Με επιτυχία διεξήχθησαν τα 28α D.I.C.E. Awards, τα οποία για άλλη μία χρονιά ανέδειξαν τους μεγάλους νικητές της gaming βιομηχανίας, για τη χρονιά που μας πέρασε. Η ζωντανή μετάδοση πραγματοποιήθηκε με επιτυχία, με 30.000 μέλη της Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) να ψηφίζουν τα διάφορα games, τα οποία είχαν χωριστεί ανά κατηγορίες.
Στη μεγάλη πλέον συλλογή βραβείων της Team Asobi έρχεται να προστεθεί ακόμα ένα τρόπαιο, αφού το Astro Bot σήκωσε και στα D.I.C.E. Awards το βραβείο του Καλύτερου Παιχνιδιού της Χρονιάς. Βέβαια, εκτός από αυτό, το Astro Bot αναδείχθηκε πρώτο και σε 4 ακόμα κατηγορίες, κερδίζοντας τα βραβεία: Outstanding Achievement in Game Design, Family Game of the Year, Outstanding Technical Achievement και Outstanding Achievement in Animation.
Άλλα παιχνίδια που ξεχώρισαν στα βραβεία D..I.C.E. ήταν τα Helldivers 2, Balatro και Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, με το πρώτο να σηκώνει 4 βραβεία και τα υπόλοιπα δύο games να κερδίζουν από 3 βραβεία το καθένα.
