Ο Geoff Keighley ανακοίνωσε μία-μία τις ενεργές κατηγορίες και τα παιχνίδια από τα οποία απαρτίζονται, και διόλου τυχαίο που ακούσαμε πολλές φορές τα ASTRO BOT και Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, αφού ηγούνται των υποψηφιοτήτων σε 7 διαφορετικές κατηγορίες. Επίσης μεγάλη βραδιά προβλέπεται και για το Metaphor: ReFantazio των 6 nominations, ενώ τα Balatro και SILENT HILL 2 θα έχουν από 5 ευκαιρίες να πάρουν βραβείο.
